335xi mechanical problem???

what is the possibility that my car is having a transmission problem if it feels laddy and not accelerating propery going anywhere from 0-40mph, it feels extra laggy but once im going past 45mph i dont feel it, could it be a transmission problem or an ecu problem

How many miles?
If over 50k its possible you need and intake port cleaning.
walnut blast.
Also have the spark plugs and filters been changed at 45k?

not over 50, 468**. i have only had the car for 13 days so i haven't checked anything, the carfax says thats the bmw dealership changed the spark plugs at 43,961miles feb 27,2012. I still have 2 months left on the warranty so the dealership better find out whats the problem. also. when i take the car in tomorrow do i have to pay the diagnostic fee if i still have warranty?

has it felt that way from the beginning when you purchased it? have you check to see what recalls BMW has done? Ask about the fuel pump recall would be a first question for the dealer

then go from there

otherwise, if its an auto, drop it down in manual shift mode wind her up and shift near the red line, and blow the crap out of it, if manual, blow the crap out of it, it is a BMW it loves high rev shifts. See if that helps

well thats how it started the jerking, i had it in manual mode last night and i was blew the doors off of my friends honda vtech, and after that thats when the jerking started. before last night it was never jerking.
