Electrical malfunction has this ever happen to anyone
I have a video to show what's going on. Its on YouTube under "vid_20130117_183344" 1st I have the key in between off and accessories, then I turned it to the off position, the I turn it back to accessories where it should be, then prime, then start, but as you can see I turn it back to prime and the car is still running
I can even take the key out and the car will stay on. "BTW the bleep was a text". Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Well, if the battery is ok it might be worth checking the ground and positive connections are clean and tight.
Or it may be something within the key cylinder/actuator. Hard to say. I honestly dont recall seeing many issues like this. |

Actuator? Well to have the car completely off I have to either disconnect the battery or leave the key in the half way position but then I can't take the key out. If I take the key out eventually everything turns on as if I'm about to start the car, even the a/c turns on too. I've had to jump start the car 3 times since this issues because I forgot to disconnect the battery.
