Car wash & check control message

I went through a car wash today and as the truck started rolling a check control icon popped up. I only saw it briefly before it went away but I think it was an icon of the truck (side view) with arrows above it pointing in both directions. I looked through the manual but couldn't find any reference to it. Anyone know hat it might have been?

For a moment I thought it was a reminder to fold in my mirrors which I had forgotten to do. But I don't see how the truck could be that clever.

Also, in the manual it says to put the truck in neutral and switch off the ignition when going through a car wash. I've always left it running. Anyone know why they instruct you to shut it off? Are they just being conservative because you're indoors?

Thanks

Just being conservative. Can you even put it into neutral with the engine off?

Dont know exactly why you got the car with two arrows, but I know how to reproduce it, BMWs doesnt go anywhere if a door is open, just roll you car a little and open your door, BE CAREFULL THE CAR WILL SUDDENLY STOPS SO DONT GO TO FAST, you will get the truck with two arrows telling that you have to close all doors to be able to move.
