Jan 2013 Campaign # 12v-550: Engine Belt Idler Pulley Bolt
"Certain Moldel Year 2009-2012 X5 xDrive 35d Sports Activity Vehicles."
"The engine belt idler pulley bolt can loosen." "Over time the bolt could bend eventually, the bolt could break." "Est two hour repair time."

Had mine fixed last week while getting the oil change, I was there all day. Had the tires rotated. They had a program update that took three hours to complete. Had to tell them to change the wipers before I drove off.

Other issues :

1 - Auto wipers wait for the windshield to be totally covered before they activated.
2 - Start/Stop button hesitation or sometimes non-responsive.
3 - Tailgate open from hatch button or remote is finicky.

They say they found nothing wrong, nothing to adjust. Still digging the X5d.

Old news, had them done on both of our diesels way ahead of the letter that came in yesterday. No biggie, glad that BMW takes action to ensure our vehicles are safe.
