More iPowered or Series BMWs?
Does anyone have any info as to whether BMW will adopt the all-electric platform across its various model lines? I know that there are a number of test 3-series vehicles out there. Any chance of a Tesla-like vehicle, as in the 5 Series, perhaps? Richard

We haven't seen anything here or other BMW Enthusiast sites. We would likely hear of it in rumor form before it became general knowledge. It is likely that the i Series will be a separate line and coexist with the internal combustion BMW line of cars. Electric cars, while promising, as being adapted at a slower rate than the auto industry had expected.

Thanks for the response.
Is the series you're referring to similar in size to the i128 and i135, or are they totally dissimilar? Richard Last edited by Runon MD1; 01-19-2013 at 02:30 PM. |
