bluetooth teathering data

I have had no luck connecting my Galaxy S3 for data. Have phone paired and can stream music.... is it possible to conect via bletooth for data so BMW online can be used?

Is your F10 coded for BMW Live? Otherwise, no USA BMW supports Bluetooth tethering for anything.

I have not coded my car yet..... want to though. Can this be done along with the dvd, mirrors etc?

Yes.

Realize that coding BMW Live will remove Assist options from your iDrive -including the Send to Car, and the BMW Remote App functionalities.

BMW Assist will continue to be functional via the roof console button.

Do you see Internet option in connected drive? I have Internet option but can only use iPhone for Bluetooth tethering. GS3 gets stuck on the nav screen showing "transferring data using GS3".

I took my car to BMW and we tried several GS2, GS3, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and it only worked with the iPhones.
