Very smart and good solid customer relations.
I agree that a vendor cannot be responsible for an amateur DIY'er not knowing how to put stuff together. And I believe it is your responsibility only to supply the correct parts.
You cannot be there when the DIY is actually taking place to oversee that things are done correctly. Therefore you are not responsible for the lost anti-freeze.
You may be responsible for not packing a small part like the O-ring that might be lost by someone not knowing to look for it in a highly visible place.
So all in all the vendor is not responsible.
BUT, you recognize that you are a valued supplier on BMW boards and that the high visibility among members here makes word travel very quickly if a perceived unsatisfactory transaction takes place.
So to go the extra mile here to keep a buyer happy will be remembered by many.
I will continue to recommend you knowing we will not end up with any regret in our dealings with you.

Above and Beyond the call of duty.

I'm really sorry for causing all of this uproar.
I like your prices and your shipping is second to none!
I take back what I have said about not using your store.
I will most definitely use your web based store as my go to place for parts, that is if you're willing to accept me as a returning customer.
