Light's

I was keeping my headlights on the auto position and all of a sudden it's daylight and the lights are on. Doe's anyone know where to get a new photo cell to make the headlights work on auto again?

Do you have anything on the dash? Maybe some paper you've slid between the dash and the windshield? Some cars have two little sensors on the dash for the auto light feature, not sure where they are on the 7..

No paper on the dash and if i'm not mistaken the sensor is located in the grille of the center range speaker. I looked on ebay but I could not find anything and I know the dealer is going to be overpriced like everything else.

The light sensor is bonded to the windshield glass behind the rear view mirror. You probably have some dirt on the glass if font of the sensor.

I wanted to ask the question, so im glad you did. Mine seem to be on all the time aswell, be it cloudy or not. I was thinking the lights were on a timer with the clock or something. The reason i say that is becuase I see other BMW's with thier low beams on during the day. I dont have window tint but wonder if that causes it?
