BMW Assist Help

Hi Everyone.

So I'm a little confused about BMW assist. I actually got my car end of october 2012 and didn't realize that BMW assist came gratis for 4 years with the car. So tonight I hit the SOS button talked to a friendly operator gave them my email, set my pin/code verified phone numbers etc.

My issue is that even though I did these steps I still can't access BMW assist in the car, the BMW remote app won't recognize my user name which I assume is my email address or does it recognize the pass code I set up with the operator.

So what am I doing wrong?

Is there a web portal that I can try to access my account?

Any help is much appreciated.

I had to call BMW assist (via SOS) because I couldn't get MyBMW Remote app working. They reset my 4 digit passcode and the app has worked ever since.

Your username is your e-mail address but all in capital letters. Hopefully you know your PIN.
