Does $500 over invoce for an ED sound like a good deal?

Guys:
In the market for financing a new 2013 335i for ED. Used BMWconfig to price it out (imp blue, luxury line, saddle brwn leather, burl wood int, prm pck, tech pck, htd seats). The MSRP and the invoice for my config came out to be $48825 and $44915 respectively. Armed with the config report, I contacted about ~8 BMW dealers in my area (metro Washington dc) and 4 of them got back to me with an offer of 500 over invoice ($45415). From reading the posts, it seems like a good offer but I feel that there is room to go down further since it was all done through email and honestly I did not even start any negotiation. Is this a good deal and has anybody had any experience doing ED (or US delivery) at or below invoice? All the dealers have agreed to give me a $750 rebate on top of the "500 over invoice offer" as a current BMW owner
Thanks,
J

IMHO $500 over invoice before any rebates is an excellent price. You may be able to do a little better since you received that quote from 4 different dealers. By playing them off against each other you may eventually bring that price down by a few hundred but I believe you will quickly get to a point of diminishing returns of effort and heartburn vs. savings. My philosophy has been that the dealership deserves a reasonable profit on their product so I was happy with $500 over invoice and did not need to squeeze every last ounce of blood out of them.

Hey I've been shopping around for a 328i and I found some new 2012s are still available. How much below invoice should I expect pay? I found 1 priced about $300 below invoice. Just wondering if can I do any better, considering we're in 2013 and this is basically a stripped down no line 328i. I'm also a USAA member which is showing a $1500 incentive on the F30, can that be applied after a negotiated price if its below invoice?

Will you do a European delivery for someone who lives in Philadelphia?

You can use Edmund's TMV as a guide.

Do these discounts apply to vehicles you have in stock, or only to special orders? I ask because within the next two, three weeks, we'll be looking to replace our e39 wagon. A trip up to Santa Barbara would be icing on the cake.

It's not in your immediate area, but maybe you can use this price to get them down a little further. Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville, IL sold a 13 335i coupe for $42,385 per voiceofthedriver.com

Nearing EoL? Not sure I'm clear on what that means?

Ah, I didn't catch the E92/F92 reference. I guess the reported price wasn't so helpful after all, lol.
