Right on, I think brushed is definitely the way to go if you're looking for other alternatives. Like you said, at least you got the chrome on the caddy! Lol

This is called a run-on sentence, apart from which it's "you're," so you can't hide behind Auto Correct, Spell Check, typos, your cell phone or whatever.

In addition, it's "that's," and it's "you're."

I don't feel I'm special in any way whatsoever, unless wondering why the suicide rate among English teachers isn't higher sets me apart. Perhaps if we paid teachers (I'm not one, by the way...it's just that I appreciate mine) what NBA players are paid and vice versa, we wouldn't be in quite the academic mess we're in today.

I have an X3. My wife has a 335d. Both stock. Nothing pimped. Nothing special about me or them, above and beyond the wonderful cars they are. I do follow posts. It's just that when I see, for example, "I own to many car's," instead of "...too many cars," it's maddening.

Guys, please note that even BMW make some glossy/chrome 20" rims for the F10!
Pity is that their only "real" chrome rim (style 311, chrome version) is just plain hideous and reminds too much those fine stereotype examples in CaliAgents' post above

IMHO on a dark car with many chrome parts (grille, exhaust tips, badges, windows trim!!!, badges, side indicators, etc.), some chrome on the rims might actually work well. However subtlety is the key, especially to avoid associations with above atrocities. If I was after such a "subtle" option, I guess those style 410 Bicolor would be my favorites from BMW:

I never noticed until this thread, but I saw 5 BMW's with chrome rims on my way to work today. I never thought of it as Ghetto! If the car is clean it's clean. If you write the check you get a vote.
