Coolant Leak, Weeping Hole, Coolant Pipe issue/repair - BMW NA needs to recall/fix

My mechanic just sent me this link:

Sounds like there is enough probable cause for a Class action lawsuit for a manufacturing defect.

I own a 2004 745LI with 50K miles and I am always worried that it's a matter of time my car will develop this leak.

745 how would that work.
