2013 335i pricing
Hi, can anyone assist on a reasonable pricing for a loaded new 335? i am about to trade my 2011 C63. any idea what my target discount as a %? i was thinking 10% of msrp. i have a couple of reasons to trade. i am starting a new job soon and i dont want to be flashy. i dont drive nearly enough to justify the novelty of a 450hp car either. i am also pretty sick of paying insane insurance rates due to being in south florida.
i'm going to go for a test drive tomorrow in all likelihood. if all goes well, i will probably pull the trigger. are there any must have options? i likely going to buy and trade the amg. any advice is highly appreciated |

bmwconfig.com And, as stated, 500-750 over invoice is a good deal. Go with a Board Sponsor. You won't regret it. Fast, simple, no games, done.

Ok, look, stay away from the Dealer until you educate yourself. You're not ready, and you're gonna get had. There is no '13 335is. You got the dough but not the "know". Ask your questions here first. Also check out the Ask-A-Dealer forum for some good info.

fair enough, i will do some reading and come back if i need further clarity.
i do have one other question. how does BMW view ECU tuning? MBUSA doesn't like any tampering of any kind and my instinct is telling me that this will ring true on the other side @ bmw as well. Last edited by rtf; 01-18-2013 at 06:54 PM. |

Yes he's right. I have no knowledge of the F30 328i, but coming from the Mercedes C63 you probably should look at the 335i. I'm a big proponent of the flagship engine being an inline six.

Is 500+ over invoice on an ED a good deal?
Guys:
In the market for financing a new 2013 335i for ED. Used BMWconfig to price it out (imp blue, luxury line, saddle brwn leather, burl wood int, prm pck, tech pck, htd seats). The MSRP and the invoice for my config came out to be $48825 and $44915 respectively. Armed with the config report, I contacted about ~8 BMW dealers in my area (metro Washington dc) and 4 of them got back to me with an offer of 500 over invoice ($45415). From reading the posts, it seems like a good offer but I feel that there is room to go down further since it was all done through email and honestly I did not even start any negotiation. Is this a good deal and has anybody had any experience doing ED (or US delivery) at or below invoice? All the dealers have agreed to give me a $750 rebate on top of the "500 over invoice offer" as a current BMW owner Thanks, J |

I got 6.55% off MSRP, which equated to $985 over invoice. That's pretty good for Canada on a custom order.

Additionally, see how well they will help you finance your car... you don't want to be in a situation that you got a very good quote on the car, but got screwed on the APR, etc.. So, what you can do is, hold off on negotiating only the price on car, see what you are getting for financing and negotiate the 2 together... Good luck.. |
