M3 production end

Dear all,

When does the clock run out to order an M3 from the current series?
I heard that production will cease sometime in the summer. Ideally I would be looking at some in July, but I guess that is too late?

Any pointers welcome, thanks.

EOP is 06/2013 for the Coupe and 10/2013 for the Convertible.

I would say you want to get your order in by April/May for the coupe.

I think you mean EOP (end of production)
SOP= start of production

Not many more months and I can't imagine allocation will be plentiful...

OP, while EoP is scheduled for June, I suspect the date could change based on a few variables including parts availability. As referenced by Ty_Vil, you would also be up against allocation. I would suggest starting the process now and ask for a delay in delivery.

allocation is limited like Ty said.. start trying to lock an allocation NOW, the production date can be changed by BMW if needed, however w/o a production # you have NOTHING....

available options may get interesting as production winds down...

when production winds down there will be LESS cars and still more buyers................... remember no more normally aspirated V8 engine .. EVER... and there will be a least a 1+ year gap until new car comes out... This is a supply and demand thing.

Especially if you want to do European Delivery.
