No just the Pully and maybe the belt if old,

pulley belts and the tensioner would be what i do. You're car will thank you for years to come

mm possible that someone ordered the wrong part in the past and made it work. that would be the only M52 i have done that sort of job on. the M43 and M44 are the same setup
