TPMS Rebuild Kit Required?

When replacing the TPMS sensors/valves in the wheels, is a rebuild kit required all the time?

If you've bought new sensors and valve stems and are simply installing the new sensors and stems, all the parts you need will be there. If you're not replacing your old ones and are transferring the old ones to a different wheel, you'll want the rebuild kits.

Thanks Gary. So moving sensors to wheels with existing valves (sensors removed) requires the kit? X5 oem wheels and sensors, what does the kit cost per wheel?
