I have service done at Bavarian Motorsport, I believe TC Design is next door. TC Design quoted me $120.00 per hr on four wheel alignment. I heard about Motor Techniques...I will give them a call. Thanks.

Alignment Services in Walnut Creek. If you're familiar with Chris' background, you'll appreciate his work now that he's got his own digs.

Sorry, forgot to mention look up Yelp for reviews on Alignment Services. It seems those that have complained did so because "they were rude". And while i noticed some of that, I personally don't put importance on politeness with an alignment job, so long as the job is done right, and the "final values" report confirm that. Drives better too. They're reasonably priced ($80 for a four-wheel alignment) and have the latest equipment. The location looks dodgy until you roll into his shop. Not directed at the OP, but if one were the mamby-pamby type this probably isn't the coolest place to check out.
I don't usually give recommendations (on anything) which is why I'm trying to provide as much detail as I can. Do your own research and you will be fine. |

$80.00 not bad for wheel alignment. Motorsport Techniques gave me a quote of $85.00. Dealer charge $189.00.

I second this nomination. Chris is a true professional, he only does alignments and clearly knows his stuff. Out of there after a 1/2 hour and a couple of adjustments. The price is definitely right compared to some local indy shops (Edge in Dublin wants $149 and will keep the car for 2-3 hours) and the dealer ($199 "special" at East Bay BMW).

It's a mom-and-pop operation, but they have a $50K hunter machine, looks brand new, and best of all, they let you watch up close, touch things, ask questions, snap pictures, and see all the diagnostics on the screen, and, in general, be a PITA. They don't seem to mind. They even give you the $10 Yelp discount if you simply mention that you want it to "Debbie" the counterperson, so, the $100 alignment was $90, all told (no tax).
