How about you GFYS. Happen to a brake engineer for a major performance car company and SlowBob doesn't know his head from his a$$ when it comes to brakes, doesn't support his forum contributors. Already asked for the ban hammer because I can not find the delete account switch. Smart, more then you can possibly comprehend. I am looking to be banned.

So slow bob. Already asked in a PM to be banned. You still haven't done it. No one in this thread can recognize an inferior product. No one in this thread aside from me has any idea what they are looking at. I wasted 501 posts already on most people that don't care to learn a thing.

Worst of all is YOU SlowBob. Do your job and protect your ignorance and BAN ME.

Live happily forever.

Do us all a favor Bob-O and grant his wish please.

Noob, you are really being an idiot aren't you. Attacking people who have been around here for a long time isn't smart. We are sort of a brethren around here. If you were near me I'd pop you right in the mouth for talking your crap about Bob.

Notice, I shared your perspective on this issue, yet I stated my mind and left it at that. No need to be a douche. People will either listen or not, no skin off my teeth if someone doesn't do what I think they should.

I believe I'm going to give these a shot. I'm waiting to hear back from the seller on a few things and I'll probably order the kit sometime tomorrow.

LOL.
Going to keep doing this until ban....

So you are an complete idiot. I already showed you pictures of their failed products and presented issues with SlowBob's lack of logic AND knowledge of braking systems and design.

Not to mention the total lack of ignorance in this topic.

Pissed about the futility of these ignorant inquires? You bet. But there is more...

Thanks! And yes, I am being a douche. I am fed up with ****ty moderators and people that just want to know their ignorance is OK.

There was no point to this and many, many threads in this forum.

Maybe it is just me. I come here to learn and share knowledge.

Problem is few, including SlowBob, seem to care.

End it....

If anyone has ever bought this exact kit, are the brakes and rotors good, bad, or what? Apparently, they've sold a ton of these kits so surely someone has tried them out.
The only thing I would be wary of is the ceramic pads. They don't stop as well as OEM until they warm up a little. I feel that one of the best features of my car is the brakes. Sure, ceramics dust less, but to me the trade off isn't worth it.

I have them on my 330Xi for the last 14000 miles and have no issues with them. The ceramic pads are excellent too with low dusting of the wheels.

Sounds like you might have had defective ceramic pads before. There shouldn't be any noticeable difference between the two other than less dust.

Not true at all. Ceramics are noted for not stopping as well for the first few braking applications. I would only go with ceramics for a car that is tracked, or driven VERY hard on the street, as they have much better fade resistance than OEM when heated to the limit. When you get your set, post back on how you like your first stop on a cold morning.

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_be...mic_brake_pads

I used to drive some very fast cars, so I know what I am talking about. If they had the same stopping power as OEM, they would be OEM on all cars, but most drivers would not tolerate that first longer stop.
