Check engine - P13B6
Hey guys, I got a P13B6 code on my 2009 328i. Nothing comes up when I google it, except one Polish site that says it means "P13B6 (05046) - Detonation Detection System misfire (BIS)". It was after a cold start in -18 degrees ( 0 for the Americans). I reset it and the light hasn't come back on, but does anyone know what it could be caused by?

Hmm...if my car is telling me that it is experiencing a "detonation detection" then I might want to leave and not come back
Could this be the pistons misfiring? It's the only explosion that should happen in the car. How long has it been since you last used the car?

The night before, I drove for over 100km (60 miles). I drive it daily, and I haven't noticed any changes in driveability. If it was a misfire, wouldn't it set a misfire code? Its just strange that nobody outside a Polish forum has ever encountered this code.
