Hey Yorgi,

Happy New Year to you.

I recently had valve gaskets and upper/lower timing gaskets changed....somehow during the 3 day DIY, my batt went dead which required a jumpstart.

Lo and behold, a code appeared out of nowhere...."passenger airbag restraint, tension, fault".....

Never had ANY problems before and this is my first time seeing this code.

Ever heard of this?

Can it be reset/cleared?

I know this forum keeps you busy, but I would appreciate your knowledge and wisdom on this one.

Thank you in advance.

This code comes up often with a weak battery. You should be able to clear it with a good battery, with a full charge. Mine only cleared with a new battery, with a full 12 hour charge. The new battery off the shelf would not clear the code. I was glad to see it clear after putting a fresh charge on it.

Good Luck!
