Quick Question re 2013 Diesel X5

All,

Ordered a 2013 X5d...trading in my loved 2011 X3 because I figured the deal on the X5 diesel won't get any better. Anyhow does this model have the dreaded (to me) stop/start?

Thanks

You mean when the car automatically turns off engine at each stop? No, it doesn't have this band-aid abomination, you chose the right time to buy it (next generation will most likely have it).

Nope, doesn't have it.
I rode in X3 vehicle with this stop/start "feature". It's pretty annoying - the vehicle slightly shakes every time it starts or stops on lights. I did not like it at all.

I drove a 328i loaner the other day which has this "feature", ABSOLUTELY HATE it. If BMW had made the engine start/stop as smooth as a Prius, then I wouldn't mind so much. However, the start/stop on BMW is so annoying and rough.
