engine oil

Hi Guys,

I live in northern Virginia, what do you think is the best engine oil for my 2000 bmw 528i with 78k miles on it, especially this time of year.

Synthetic but do a search for more info. A topic with many threads.

I only know you by what you write (we are all what we write), so I'm going to assume, from the question, and the lack of search skills, that you possibly gullible and potentially illogical and maybe you have a tendency to follow the pack and don't want to think all that much on your own (else why ask?)... therefore the ONLY oil YOU should ever use are those on the BMW Long-Life 2001 list.
