What does EML light mean?
Driving home the EML came on and cars started to slow down, it wouldn't respond to the throttle. Shut her down and restarted 5 mins later and it drove like nothing happened? CEL is also on not sure if they are connected

You need to get the codes read, then come back with that info. Autozone or similar should do it for no charge. Call ahead and ask.
