I don't think I was clear enough. Yes it was bought new from a dealer in 2011, has all boxes and papers, and I'm asking around $4K for it (a bit more than $2500 was too vague I now realize.) I got this watch for Christmas with the fabric strap. It's a great sport/outdoor watch and super comfortable. At the price, if something happens to it, you won't be sad.

Best of all, it's a self-winding automatic with exhibition back. My daughter loves seeing what makes the watch tick and too few kids growing up today even know much about mechanical watches. At the sub $100 level (or even sub $200), nobody makes better automatics than Seiko. This one is very accurate as well! Don't diss Seiko! Though when it comes to quartz, in the $100 to $300 range, I find Citizen has nicer looking watches and their Japanese movements are almost indestructible.

Omega rocks. Had to get the 2500d movement Planet Ocean before it was impossible to find since they moved to the newer (and sadly less attractive in my eyes) 8500 movement in the PO.

I like that Seiko Sportura. I just might get myself one.
