295/30/19 on my 2011 E93 M3

I ordered a pair of Yokohama advan neova tires for the rear (295/30/19) which should fit according to American tires. My car is not dropped but I do have spacers on the rear (15mm). Will there be any rubbing ?

I already ordered my tires a couple days ago and they should be coming in any day now but just thought I would ask to get some input.

What wheels do you have on your car? And my experience tells me that spacers will indeed cause rubbing. I ran ZCP wheels with a 295-30 and it was a great fit. I'm now running a 19x10.5 wheel with the same tire and it's perfect. The offset of your wheel will also be a factor..........Phil

I have 19 inch OEM rims. Still running the original continentals (245/35/19) in the front that came from the dealership. Do you have spacers on your car? I actually got the tires put on today and they look nice. It is pretty close to the fender though . The guy at american tire told me they will probably rub w/ my fender when I am on the freeway, I'm hoping not!!

If these tires end up giving me a hard time I will either roll out my fender, get coils, or a smarter choice would be to get 285s perhaps.

A 295-30 on a 9 1/2 inch wheel is a bad idea......you must have some serious "muffin top" on those rear tires..............Phil

yea your right on that. I should have consulted before ordering the tires. I thought it would be no problem since the computer allowed my car to have that size. I guess I was just getting greedy for the looks. You think I can eliminate the problem by removing my spacers? Or would I have to step it down to 285s?

For the tire sizes you desire you'll need to change wheels. The stock 220 is just not wide enough. You are probably best running a 275-35 with your spacer set up. Or you can find some ZCP wheels and move up in size.............Phil
