x3 not starting

Howzit all. I drive a 2005 2.0d x3. It started giving me some hassles with not starting . It doesnt do it all the time. All warning lights go on but when you turn the key well nothing after the 4 th attempt it starts as normal and then you dont have problems for a couple of days and just as you think its safe to go back into the water boom. I had the glo plugs replaced at the 135 000 km service but problems started again. Any advice please
