Need Advice - Code Read
Hello,
I just a new member, after lot of search I came to this site, seeking help. My story goes ,I got BMW E46 330CI Convertible, Model 2001. I start getting transmission error and car gets stalled with a gauge sign on the speed cluster. My mechanic told me to replace the DME ECU as its creating issue. We replaced the DME ECU, EWS , Door locks and key since then remote unlock stop working and engine light turned on. I got my car scan and got this mention below report. Code 18 Signal, Camshaft Sensor – Exhaust Code 11 Signal, Sensor, Radiator – Outlet Coolant Temperature Code 62 Activation, Solenoid Valve, Secondary Air Code 140 Output-Stage Fault DMTL Pump Code 126 Output-Stage Fault diagnose module, tank leak, diagnosis valve Code 79 Activation, OX Sensor heater behind Cat Conv bank 1 Code 61 Activation, OX Sensor heater behind Cat Conv bank 2 Code 2 Activation, Ignition Cylinder 4 Code 29 Activation, Ignition Cylinder 1 Code 29 Activation, Ignition Cylinder 5 Code 210 Error – Ignition – Correct Measurement at more than 2 Cylinders Code 30 Activation, Ignition Cylinder 3 These are the codes I hope I wrote it right, since then car is on rough idle, misfire a lot,hard on acceleration and black carbon can be seen on side of the rare bumper. Kindly suggest me what should I do as the car is more than 10 years old and does not cover under any warranty and I am totally noob before my mechanic rip me off, if you all can suggest what step should I take, either I get my old DME repaired or replace few parts. |
