So what's the scoop? Are we organizing a caravan? Can you all keep up with me on my I-5 sprints? Should we take the 101 instead for a more leisurely and scenic route?

Last time I cruised up to the bay, I sat 15ft behind a rig going 55. Got up there in 5/8 of a tank!

When you guys head back, we should head up the PCH and I'll drive with you up until we get to Oxnard, you guys can take the 101-N and I'll take the 101-S.

James can take some rolling shots and still shots too!

101 is much more enjoyable, but I'll probably take 5 since I'm right off of it. Maybe cut across 152.....hrm.

I'm a maybe right now. Our house is tentatively scheduled to close that weekend. I'm hoping it's actually in early June but we'll see.

Any errors in this post are purely Swype's fault, not mine.

C'mon now. What is more important, us or your house/family? You need to reassess your priorities there!!

Last year I had a potentially major issue with my car. Crossing my fingers for this year.

I am down for a 'van...

Problem is I'm most likely leaving Friday afternoon. The OFFICIAL bay area caravan is leaving on Friday morning.

If I'm not signing closing docs, come chill at my place. I'm good with a later time.

Well the reason I might be leaving later is because I may have a final that morning.

If I don't that means I'll leave in the morning with the official 'van. :/

Unless of course you really want to 'van with me...

I'll probably do the Bay Area caravan this year again. But if you guys are serious about driving up here to join in for a later lift off I'd be down to leave later on in the day.

Last year the caravan was fun but I got there about 5 minutes before departure and didn't know anyone. Plus waking up that early and driving all day I was an early bird. Pasadena looks like fun and I didn't get to enjoy it that much.

Downtown Pasadena is OK, but I don't think you missed out on much.
