How do I drain out all the fuel?
I've been troubleshooting a P0102 code and rough running. While I'm still looking for a vacuum leak I want to drain all the gas and replace with fresh. My 03 Z4 2.5 sat for several months so I just want to rule out bad gas. What's the easiest way to completely drain the tank and fuel system?
Thanks |

Suck it out with a hose

Easiest way is to poke a hole in the bottom of the tank.
![]() Or you can siphon it out. Or you can pull the hose that feeds the engine, turn on the key and let it pump out. Or, several months is no big deal. Our Roadster sits every winter.
