I have coded for the window up with fob and comfort access, both on the cheat sheet, never saw the down window feature.

Speaking of the window auto up. Why the hell can't you auto-up it with the door open? Weird little quirks like that with BMW. I'm assuming the coding spoken of here can change that as well.

Well, did the obvious test. Windows go up if I hold the lock button, yes.

Guess what happens when I hold the unlock button on the fob?

That's right!

Keep holding and the roof glass slides back too. This is going to be nice come summer in The South at going home time.

I believe the North American defualt is if you hold the unlock button on the keyfob for a prolonged time it would open the windows. It was the closing that we had to add through coding.

I coded the closing of windows and roof glass only so I think the opening is simply the feature operating naturally on the opening command. The window and roof opening require a prolonged press on the fob and that wait time may well be programmable. The opening function using the comfort access (door handle) doesn't seem to open anything but the door locks.

Yes. From what I have read on the coding forum, anything that is "non-stock" gets reset back to stock if they update the software.
