97 z3 1.9 cam follower-lifter problem

removed cams to have head checked and when reinstalled lifters and cams not all valves seal tight anymore. Kind of like they released and wont go back again. any solution or replace? Not making any sence! as some of them are fine

Just curious -- did you buy the Bentley Z3 manual or download the Bentley E36 manual? They show M44 head and valve train removal and replacement.
