I was sitting in the garage for about 10 min, drove away and had to come back as i forgot something. I've seen a pile of water on a group where the engine was. I touched it and it seemed like water not coolant or oil.
It's winter here and I did not have AC on. Is this water discharge suppose to be there or something is leaking ? Thanks

Could it be snow or rain leaking down or possibly so cold that the exhaust is building condensation? If it's not coolant or oil, and just pure water I would bet it's something stupid that is normal..

Seals shrink when it's really cold; every mechanic I know in the LA area loves winter because that's when they get all the cars coming in with leaks. It could be any number of areas; if it's near the rear of the engine it could be head gasket seals, if its near the front you have a range of choices. The two I read about most often are the bottom of the coolant tank or the lower radiator hose where it meets the radiator. There are a few scarier options but they would be consistent, not just with the cold.

The ac compressor still runs on heat setting on some cars, if I recall correctly its to remove moisture and help with defrosting. I dont know if this applies to our cars too.

water leak
i had a slow leak of water coming from under my car and i had them install a new water pump, coolant reservoir, and spider hose. it continued to leak until they changed the engine gasket. it's just a suggestion. good luck!

What's up Caressa? Thank you for the love! My wheels are 22's. I live in LA and i see them all of the time with 24's and they are too big in my opinion. They might as well be riding a camel because you can see them from a mile away.

I had 24's. If you like rubbing and having to dodge everything in the road with horrible ride quality you will love them!
