jb racing flywheel kit

Hey what's up everybody! I got rid of one of my e39's and now I'm left with parts. I purchased a jb racing kit for my 6 speed but it was wrecked and the kit with clutch only had minor use ..I would like to sell and possibly get some money back. I will post pics. Lmk if your interested and maybe work out a price. The kit originally cost me 2k. Kit has approximately 3k miles. Basically new, kit includes pressure plate,clutch,bearing and slave cylinder. What`s the weight on that flywheel ? Is it aluminum, steel, composite, or ?

Any idea why it says it won't fit my 540?

Once again mabad. I got the part # from the flywheel (520-150-240) and this link is what I found. I have this flywheel and a sachs pressure plate and clutch. I don't have the bolts or the alignment tool. I unfortunately lost them. When I say bolts I only mean the ones that attach the flywheel to the trans not the once that attach the clutch and pressure plate to flywheel. I have those. Please research the part number your self and I'm sure you will find that it will fit most e39's. Thanks

Here's the same exact kit from Bimmerworld - note that this one says it fits 540i. I'm also going to assume that any clutch kit for an M5 would fit a 540i6 given that they share transmissions?

Yes this kit came off a 1997 540i with a 6 speed transmission and a m5 diff..

i contacted jbracing and they said that although its the same flywheel as the 540 version the motronics sensor is in a different location and cannot be moved. Basically they said if you install it your 540 wont start.
