2014 BMW X1 E84 retail pricing and ordering guide brought to you by me, representing BMW Santa Barbara and my website, Bimmerfest.com.

Do you know when the 2014 prices will hit the BMW CONFIG site? And when 2014 X1's can be ordered for ED?

X!, based on what my dealer told me, any ED scheduled for after March (when 2014 production begins) will be a 2014 model. So if you order now for pickup in march or after that then its a 2014 model.

You should be able to order one for ED within a week (as soon as February allocation for March produciton hits the dealers).

It's too bad there will be no paddle shifters option without M-sport. Can't get a heated steering wheel and paddles now.

I did not notice a diesel engine available for the 2014 X1. Any news on whether this will be forthcoming sometime in 2013?

Not this year and I wouldn't expect it any time soon after that either.

2XA? It looks like that's still available and implies comes with Sport Line, or is a NC option on Sport Line?

ya the guide seems to say that. I asked my CA and he was able to add the paddle shifters for no charge with Sports line package. I could keep the heated steering wheel as well.

Ahh, yes, I completely missed that being avaiable on sport line, nice find.

BMW is making a big diesel announcement at the NY auto show. Bimmerfest will be there to bring you coverage, stay tuned.

I noticed that the price of the ultimate package has been reduced to $6.150 from $6,650 and now includes the Sat. radio which had been a separate $350 option.

It also means that the Sat radio now requires the premium package.

No. You need nav package to get it.

Any insight into whether the lighting package on the MY2014 can be ordered without the premium package? The premium package is a requirement for the 2013 model, and the 2013 ordering guide says so. But I couldn't find any similar notes in the 2014 guide at the top of the thread. Thanks for any thoughts.

Did anyone order the 2014 X1 for ED? i placed an order for an April ED but am still waiting for the dealer to get a production number for the 2014 X1 as they are not available. I am getting anxious as i am looking to get an april end ED or i am going to have to wait till June.
Anyone else place an order and got a production # or delivery date?

Yes, both. I placed an order Jan 2nd (first morning the 2014 ordering info showed up in dealer computers), though it got kicked out because there was no dealer allotment for ED. My dealer was given week 17 allotment the following week for ED and a May 13th ED date, which I've since moved to the 18th to better fit travel plans. I have a production number, confirmed check in time and delivery time at Welt. I know others have had dealers tell them they were not given allotment yet for any 2014 orders. I have heard of a few others with ED dates for late May but it seems random for which dealers have allotment and which don't and I do not know why.

i ahve been asked to wait a few days and that an allocation will be given soon.

also i order the car end of day on 1/30. so it hasnt been too long.as i said i am just being impatient.

I nave reservation letter with production # and May 13th ED
