ABS/ASC Lights

Started my 1995 540 and the ABS and ASC lights will not shut off. After reading Bentley Manual, I cleaned the debris off my ABS sensors, but that did nothing. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go next?

Yep - Get the codes read. Sorry no quick fix here. Once you know whats wrong, fix that. Could be broken/damaged wire or terminal corrosion - if you are kucky.

you can try checking and cleaning the tone rings too. They are almost inside the hub, look like little gears. These are what the ABS sensor read for. If they are cracked or have teeth missing, you will notice this light and poor abs.
