^ i would figure for $8500 he could've gotten the hood to close properly....

and what is with the soot being blown out?? bov?? :dunno: i *hope* that's not where the exhaust is routed...:tsk:

still, would expect a little bit more polish given the amount of work it has. maybe it's just me??

1977 Porsche 924 (Red) Has To Go! $750
This clean titled 924 manual transmission is in decent condition. The car wants to start but hasn't continued to run like it should. I'm thinking a fuel pump issue maybe.

More parts cars for my eventual tranny swap, and the continuation of my 944/924 obsession. Both major projects though.

It would be a shame to part it out, though, even at 330k, it apparently still runs.

i could see that argument. i suppose it's down to the person. I see it as the precursor to the US E36 M and being a very limited production with all M sport goodies and a desirable interior make it a little bit special. I mean you'll probably never see one on barret jackson, like an M3 evo or anything but, for bimmerphiles it could certainly be an obscure piece of history worth owning.

So this is worth jumping on? I was about to email the guy and go over to take a look at it. I know the "Hurricane" interior is worth a good bit, provided it is in good shape.

If you want a garage queen that can win concours competitions, yes. I disagree about resetting the odo. 330k is a testament to how well loved the car was.

And apparently reliable...

I emailed the guy. Hopefully he responds soon so I can go take a look at it. If all is good, I'll definitely make him an offer and pray he takes it or negotiates a decent price.

What kind of wheels are those on the car? Were they really from the factory like that? They look pretty spiffy.

If you crash it I hope you feel shame and regret. Seriously, at Legends of the Autobahn, there was a single M-tech and it got 2nd place in the clean class.

I agree with you, but not ones like this. Especially now, nearly 20 years later. This particular one has given its all, at 330k it (Indiana Jones voice) "Belongs in a museum!"
