Function wise, how is the LED light pattern at night compare to the halogen? LED usually do not throw a beam that far, but since this is a fog light application, it might be perfect for the job.

I think you are correct...the motivation for this mod is for appearance over function...they think its cool to drive around with their fog lights on in clear weather.

thats the closest i have seen with regard to the color match.

Ok I ordered them, I was only shipped the 20W for 85.00 Color is spot on it mathes Halos perfect, However its pretty much stictly cosmetic as the fogs dont add much extra light to the road.

Not sure if the 40W that the poster got give you more road light, Also let me know what you did with all of the adapter cable did you just tuck it up behind the light? Thats what I did but not sure if it will shake loose over time and be seen behind the fog light grill.

I used a coat hanger to pull and my hands to pry open the plastic covers.

Taped the resisters to the inside with electrical tape to the housing, otherwise they will pull back to the hot radiator and the LED wires don't have any heat shielding...

You don't need to remove the two bolts to install. -20min install.

Getting ready to pull the trigger and get these for my fog lights but also considering these: http://www.hoen-usa.com/fog.htm Not sure which would be better, I do not want any sort ot blue color at all just white to match the headlights. Also do not know the difference between the h8 and h11.

Car arrived this morning to dealer. Then they sent it to get tinted. Will pick it up next week. Just trying to stock up on all the mods I plan to do, so wanted to buy some white lights to replace the ugly yellowish fogs.
