When I add B & O music system, the configurator still charges $950 for Premium Hi-Fi. WHY?

Technically, the base sound system does not have a fiber optic (MOST) connection between the CIC and the OEM amp. B&O requires that MOST connection. The Premium Sound does have that connection.

Marketing-wise, that's BMW way of ripping $950 out of you for about 7ft of fiber optic cables.
