Need advice on 2013 550xi

Current Mercedes s550 owner and about to pull the trigger on a 2013 550xi. Looking for advice from you guys. Anything I should be aware of ? Also, any major changes coming to 2014 model that i should wait for?

So, you can't go wrong with a 550. Fantastic car.

Get the M-sport package. Completely changes the look of the 550 in a good way.

In August, the car will have its mid-cycle refresh (for 2014). Some of the people around here may have more information on the changes, but my impression is that it is mostly body work with a slight chance of engine adjustments.

The 550 will be getting a significant power boost- I think + 40 HP & +30 TQ. There are also rumors that in addition to minor cosmetic updates, there will be improvements made to the steering. I believe production starts in July so it shouldn't be that long of a wait. Hopefully the changes will be made official at the Geneva auto show in March.

nice car. i also got a 2013 550ix recently. It's a blast of a car. I have cold weather, Executive Package, and Drive assistance package. my dealer didn't have any Msport version, and he was giving me a very sweet deal on the one i got. Plus i was coming from 2001 toyota camry, so any BMW with or without Msport was great. enjoy your new car.
