I have a 09 528 and was wondering if there was any way to add horsepower on the car. Can i add a turbo, or put a performance chip? if there is anything can you put a link below or tell me where to get it. thank you

Nope. Just enjoy the car, or get a model with a bigger engine.

http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...m-e60-5-series Honestly your best bet would be to trade your car in for 535i, put Cobb ($650 used) on it and get close to 375HP, way above the 528i + supercharge (with unrecoverable installation cost, the need to upgrade brake and suspension plus installation fee) it doesn't make sense to put SC kit onto your 528i. |

No one has been able to build a quality supercharger or turbo kit for the N52. Your best bet is to just do an intake, exhaust, front scoop, and keep the car clean. There's not too much demand for a forced induction kit for the N52 especially since they are flying off shelves for the N54/55.

You could look into this: http://burgertuning.com/BMS_Power_Box.html
Not sure how well it works, but Burger Tuning are an honest outfit and they don't make up bogus claims. Note that the gains are very modest, but maybe it's enough to make a difference for the price. One possible benefit is improved throttle response, but again I have no personal experience with this. I agree with the other responses. Not worth investing in super charger or anything exotic for that car. You are better off selling it and getting a 550 or tuned 535.

Don't bother. You'll spend more trying than it would cost to just sell yours and buy one with a bigger engine (at best)

As many others have said, get an E60 with a bigger engine. Preferably the turbo ones since they are easier to tune.

tuning flash, for example ESS, Rpi + BMC filters, exhaust... All this will give you maybe max 20hp, Now you do the math, Is it worth it?

Probably not. All these harsh comments from us, probably went out and got a Porsche 911GT3RS.
