Rear Right Side Shade Does Not Work
My rear right side shade does not work. No noise, movement, etc. when trying to raise it. Is the motor simply 'timed-out'? Is there any way to reset it without a dealer visit? Tried opening and shutting the door, raising and lowering the window and moving the shade with my hand (which does not move at all), all to no avail…..

You're under warranty...I would take this problem to the dealer. Based on the fixes you said you tried, I think you've narrowed the problem down to either a bad motor or a faulty relay.

I agree. Let the warranty do its thing. No ideas beyond what you've tried. The worst thing to do is to break something while trying to fix it and making it out of warranty.

After having window tint applied to all the windows when I first purchased my car, the shade motor for one of my rear windows was shorted out, presumably from moisture from the film application. After a day or two, I located the fuse for that motor, removed and replaced it and all has been well since then. You may want to give this a try.

Interesting; where was the fuse box located; right rear of the trunk? Thanks!
