HAVE A 528i WENT INTO LIMP MODE HAS CODE 27 SERVOMOTOR ELECTRICALLY FAULTY. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS WE HAVE LIMITED ACCESS TO BMW MANUALS

27 = Idle control valve closing coil

Output digital pulse width (active low)

DME final stage will set flag whenever a short to ground, a short to battery voltage or a disconnection
between output transistor and component exists.

it is a 1997

1997 528i thanks. I failed to mention that I am scanning through the 20 pin access. looking at the abs system which had a R.F speed sensor problem. but I am left with a code 27 servomotor electrically faulty. (reading now on scanner).
