What options/packages on my 2011 M3??

First, I love this car! This forum looks like a great place for other owners with similar interests. I test drove three M3s last Nov/Dec, and loved them! Mid December, I purchased a "previously loved" 2011 M3 from the local BMW dealer. Because I wanted to see the installed packages and options, I asked for a copy of the original window sticker. The salesman never came through.

After searching around the 'net, I found a service that for pocket change would provide an ITEMIZED list of what is on the car. Trouble is, I don't how to fit these dozens of options into their respective option packages. A couple are listed, like "SMOKERS PACKAGE" and "LIGHTS PACKAGE."

Can someone here lend a hand? The individual list of options is below, thanks in advance!

Where are you located? Surely the dealer can simply print out the options. Stop in and ask a service adviser...

As for packages, can't recall how they were grouped back in 2011 but looks like you have premium pkg (parking distance control etc), you have the combox including BMW Apps, looks like Cold weather pkg (heated seats and headlight washers) as well. Don't see Competition pkg or Premium Audio listed. The rest looks to be pretty standard equipment...

Thanks, I think you're correct. The configure page for 2013 M3s at BMW's site lists the options/packages as you state. "Smoker's Package" and "Lights Package" are missing from the config page for 2013 M3s. Are they standard now?

BTW: I haven't been able to get the garage door opener on the mirror to work yet... All communication between my garage remote and programming the mirror's buttons work as the manual says, complete with the feedback buttons flashing slow/fast. But it just won't open my garage door! Any hints?

I just bought a 2011 M3 and asked about the Smokers Package as well. My dealer said every BMW has that package. Not sure about the Light Package.

Check your garage door opener's manual. The vehicle may need to be approved on the opener unit.

Thanks again. My garage door/opener system is a cheap contractor's installation that came with the house, built Fall 2004. I've been sure this is the problem ever since I began trying to program the M3's universal garage door opener. I just thought I'd ask more knowledgeable folk before I accepted "defeat."

I wish I knew this was there last December. It's in two columns, the first column is German, does not bother me. The English column is almost identical to what I paid $9.95 last December before my purchase. Although I had this info ~~$10, I was really looking for how the options were grouped into packages for 2011 M3s.
