96 328is Fuel Injector questions

Busted a couple of pintle caps removing fuel rail. Two questions: Any recommendations on aftermarket injectors? And, where can I buy an injector rebuild kit with the pintle cap and the filter? Thanks

no need to go aftermarket on the injectors unless you have some serious performance mods going on.

next, iirc you can get injector kits from rock auto. i believe this is where ken the elder had gotten some and said the quality was rather good.

if not available there, they should be available through pelican or another vendor.

where in joisey are ya??

Thanks alot! Much appreciated. I live in Bridgewater. I'm an old timer who has rebuilt and owned a number of 1960's and 70's American muscle cars. This is my first Bimmer that I have owned to wrench on. I love it. It is an amazingly easy car to work on. The German engineers take the mechanic into consideration when designing a vehicle. Except for the starter, which I am going to change as a maintenance item since I have the intake off. Everything else is pretty easy considering that they somehow jammed this engine into this car. I am very pleased with it.
