91 525i Clutch noise and exhaust advice

Well my 525i is making a not so nice noise whenever you barely even start pressing in on the clutch, its silent when not pressed and in neutral. I'm guessing its the throwout bearing, told my wife she has to take that foot off the clutch...also the exhaust needs to be completely replaced, wife took off in reverse in a hurry one morning and the exhaust got rammed into a tree stump so its bent downwards in the middle of the car and don't have a lot of ground clearance now. The exhaust system is ridiculously expensive between the center muffler, rear muffler, and the catalytic converter. What are my options on this? I know going to the scrap yard most of these cars exhaust are most likely going to be all rusted as mine is due to its age.
