ac pulley noise
07 328i
Have a metallic whirrring noise from the passenger side of engine.I replaced the idler pulley and the tensioner pulley and serpentine belt. I get the noise only after the car has warmed up. Starts and drives fine but then the engine stumbles and shakes at stops. The rpm drops and kills the motor. Noise is coming from the ac pulley, I think? Is it possible the ac pulley or bearings are shot? Thinking to remove belt and see if noise and stumbling go away. Any ideas on how to diagnose and fix? Thanks!
