I found this video oddly entertaining:

The video game style music definitely helps.

Holy sh!t, that is a lot of work. I think I am going to go sacrifice a goat to the BMW gods so that never happens to me.

Yeah, heater core replacement is freakin' insane in many cars. Not just E36s. If we keep our cars long enough, we'll certainly have to replace ours, but man, I'm definitely not looking forward to that day. Hope I have a garage by then... If I'm not mistaken, I think it might be possible to swap out the heater core without removing the entire dash, though. Regardless, you still have to yank out an insane amount of parts.

In other news, I just picked up a 7-piece set of ratcheting wrenches from Harbor Freight for $17 (down from $40). They've got a coupon in the current flyer if any of you guys are looking for deals. I've been wanting some ratcheting wrenches for a while now.

I know. There have been more than a few instances when I was working on something that was too cramped for a socket, and took an eternity to loosen/tighten with regular wrenches. Now I'm looking for something to work on...

I bought a set of Cornwell ratcheting wrenches a few weeks ago for around $200. Love them! I had a small set, but nothing compared to what I have now. It's 8mm-24mm.

I passed my first cop test today, twas on ethics and history of policing. Yuck.

Good news, only 21 more to go lol. I'm only allowed to fail 1, if you fail 2, you get kicked out. Failing is 75% or less.

I have faith in your abilities, Matt. There are a lot of bonehead cops, so they must be pretty lenient in the academy despite their test failure stipulations.

Thanks Karl! Yea there sure are, but from what we've learned most cops become the way they are after they get hired.

I like classes somewhat so far. Just sucks working 40 hours a week plus 16 hours of school and 6 of driving. And tests are at 7 am Saturdays which means I have to be up at 430, ugh.

Wow, that is a good deal. Monday I am defiantly going to Harbor Freight and getting myself a set too.

does anyone know for a fact if the Non M e36 share struts and shocks etc with the Non M e46?

also: thump at the rear when engaging the clutch. what does that bring to you mind?

He replaced his ICV. when he was ready to leave, car wouldn't start for shiz! We unplugged everything and plugged it back to see if it was anything electrical... Car still wouldn't start. At that point brad looked like he wanted to cry lol. We were going at it for a good while.... I made my had squeeze in through the manifold and the ICV was loose. Plugged it back into the manifold and BAM!!! It was weird thoe.... We weren't able to see anything, can you imagine all the lies a shop would give for something like this? Sucks I bet.

No prob

I have rokkors and I love em

make sure you get rear m3 rsms ( e46 M Vert)

reinforcement plates for the front and backs

I have non M strut mounts and theyve been good so far ( had em on for 2 years)

M strut mounts instead wouldnt hurt if you can afford em
