I have an X1 with the adaptive lights, and so far ( knock on wood), after seven months have never had jostle or bounce out of them.

I don't have a problem with the lights. They are rock solid. Looks like this light assembly was made 4/09/2012. Here is the pic for you.

The local BMW Dealership is aware and say that it is a common issue with ALL X1 with the Adaptive Headlights. (you can easily see if you pull your car up to a garage door with the lights on, and hit the top of the light with your fist. You will see the light beam bounce on the garage). But other BMW X1's I have driven or riden in do not have the issue mine has while on the road. Last edited by ryan2482; 04-25-2013 at 06:47 AM. Reason: clarification of wording. |

I have the Lighting package, which I believe means adaptive headlights and have noticed nothing like this. Love the HID's and glad to have them as is.
