E30 Build Thread

Replaced that fuel return hose, turns out that wasn't the issue, although the old hose was hard and cracked.

When I was wiggling that it was moving a ground wire that wasn't attached! Fixed that and all is well (so far) it idles perfect and doesn't hesitate or anything.



And, bumper tuck:







Rear was cake, front was a PITA due to limited space to get the bumper nuts back on once it was moved closer to the body.

Hey Fender Bender......don't know if you'd be interested in another e30 or not, but I have a super clean, totally rust & damage free '84 318i for sale here in PA. It's just missing the engine, so it would be perfect for a transplant of your choice. I have the original trans, driveshaft, injection parts, Ansa exhaust, Colgan bra, Jetronic Air Flow Sensor, ECU, and a bunch of other parts........I have it listed on Craigslist right now for $1000 or best offer. Here is the ad:

"1984 BMW 318i, no engine. Would make a great track car or build it for the street. Extremely clean, solid, totally rust-free body ready for the engine transplant of your choice. Originally a CA car and has always been garage kept and never driven in NE winters and has an immaculate interior. Engine was removed in June of 2000, and car has been stored, garaged & covered ever since. Had kids & never finished my project. Have transmission, drive shaft, exhaust, etc. Just don’t have the original 4 cylinder engine." Take a close look at the photos....the car really is clean; I doubt you'll find a more immaculate e30 interior anywhere.
