wow.....thanx a lot man, that just made my day!
 And I've been a bit busy but heres a few more snaps.I've polished the rims today and really cleaned the interior and all. The previous guy wasn't exactly a neat freak. I Just got the Car registered today but I cant drive it till i get insurance and the wait is killing me  Its been 2weeks now since I got it

my first BMW, couldn't be happier picked it up with only 59xxx miles, 02 325i with sport and premium packages, thinking about getting the rims powder coated matte black let me know what you guys think

Niz Graz, I just got my 99 328i 3 weeks ago. I'm thinking of doing the PlastDip flat black on my rims too. I wanna do the grill the same way.

Yeah I don't know about plastidip seems like a cheap solution to me, probably will go with a powder coat

I plasti dipped my rims this past summer, dont really like em. I mean for the winter its cool but i honestly dont think anything like that belongs on our precious cars. I say just go and get black rims or watever. I even went as far as nightshading the tail lights, alot of compliments and its ok but everyone is doin the "blacked out" theme. So im switching it up and getting machined finished wheels. As far as the grills, just buy them blacked out, i brought mines just a few hours ago for 40.00

cyth, yes they are carbon fiber and the product page can be found here: http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-e46-m-tec...ii-bumper.html I did not use tape or even glue though, as they were too flimsy to me. I had them bolted on from the underside as well as the sides, makes them much more stable and closes up the gaps.

HAHA yea I was a bit worried when I saw them for the first time. At first I thought they looked a little "gangster," and I mean that in the most literal of ways, but they have grown on me. Definitely don't have a problem spotting my car from afar
 They seem to perform pretty well. As it is my first Bimmer, I don't have much to compare it to, but it will definitely hug the road like a boss. I did own a '90 Nissan 300ZX which I THOUGHT was pretty "sporty"...... BOY WAS I WRONG

hey i'm not really good with the engine stuff so i hoping you guys could help me out, it seem the previous owner has changed something but i have idea what it is.
 and theres some kind of hose that seems broken, how big of a deal is this?  sorry about the engine not being so clean, im going to spend the next weekend cleaning it.

I just bought this '05 330i premium/winter pkg yesterday. Shown here w/ wife's '02 525i sport/premium/winter pkg. Both have less than 75K miles.

mazinxd: Those are ballasts for HID. Could be for your headlights, or fog lights. Easiest way to tell is to turn everything on and see what's brighter.
